Important information on prices, reimbursement, and time details
Billing according to GOZ/GOÄ
Our services are billed according to the fee schedule for dentists (GOZ), possibly individual items according to GOÄ. The individual increase rate depends on the effort and findings and will be explained in advance.
Price information = guide values
The prices and treatment times mentioned are guide values. The binding cost plan results from your findings and will be discussed and confirmed in writing before the start of treatment.
Scope of services per step
The surgical procedure does not include the dental prosthesis (crown/bridge/denture). Possible additional services such as bone augmentation, membranes/materials, surgical template, medication, or temporary dentures will only be carried out after clarification and consent and will be shown separately.
Reimbursement by health insurance companies/insurances
-
GKV (statutory): Fixed subsidies for dentures are taken into account – if there is an entitlement. Possible co-payments remain with the patient.
-
PKV/Beihilfe: The reimbursement depends on your tariff/assistance rate; the patient bears differences between the invoice and the reimbursement. On request, you will receive a detailed invoice for submission.
Financing / installment payment
Installment payment is possible through our financing partner; depending on creditworthiness. We will provide a transparent example with the term and effective annual interest rate (e.g., total amount … €, … months, eff. annual interest rate … %). The lender and terms of contract will be disclosed before signing.
Sales tax
Medically necessary services are generally exempt from sales tax. Purely aesthetic services may be subject to VAT – we will inform you in advance.
Time details & healing
OP duration, healing times, and the number of appointments are guide values and can vary, e.g., due to bone availability, general diseases, smoking behavior, or medication.
Safety & alternatives
Before each procedure, we clarify findings, risks, alternatives (e.g., bridge/denture), and rules of conduct before/after the OP. A certain probability of success cannot be medically guaranteed.
DVT/3D X-ray
A DVT scan is only performed if there is an indication and in compliance with radiation protection. We will provide you with images/data on request.
Cost plan – validity
The healing and cost plan applies to the agreed scope. Medically necessary adjustments will only be made after prior consultation.
Invoice & documents
You will receive a comprehensible invoice (services, laboratory, material). On request, we will provide documents for insurance/tax purposes.
Feedback from our regular customers
We use only the best quality materials on the market in order to provide the best products to our patients.
Is an implant
suitable for you?
Indications:
- Single tooth gaps
- Free-end gaps (missing posterior tooth)
- Edentulous jaw (with fixed solutions)
Contraindications:
- Incomplete bone development (in children)
- Uncontrolled general diseases (e.g., diabetes)
- Heavy smokers
- Acute periodontitis
We provide individual advice – often there is a solution even in difficult cases.

Frequently
asked questions
Does an implantation hurt?
Generally not: The procedure takes place under local anesthesia; you will primarily feel pressure/vibration. Sedation is possible if required – we will discuss this individually.
How long does the healing process take – and when will I receive the crown?
Often 6–12 weeks of healing until exposure; then scan/impression and integration in 1–3 appointments. It may take longer if bone augmentation is required.
What does my health insurance cover?
Statutory health insurance companies do not cover the implant surgery, but they do pay a fixed subsidy for the dental prosthesis according to standard care (amount depends on the bonus booklet).
How long do dental implants last?
With good care and regular prophylaxis, implants can function for many years. Important factors are oral hygiene, biannual check-ups, and avoiding risk factors (e.g., smoking, untreated periodontitis).
What if there is not enough bone?
Then bone augmentation or a sinus lift are possible solutions; we will explain the benefits, procedure, and additional costs in advance. The basis is a 3D diagnosis (CBCT) and your individual findings.
